A good pointed brush earns its keep on every detail job eyes, markings, cockpit instrumentation, the fiddly bits that make or break a paint job. Tamiya’s High Finish (HF) small pointed brush holds a crisp point and lays paint down smoothly, and it’s built to keep doing that long after cheaper brushes have gone splayed and useless.

Best for

• Fine detail work on figures, markings and instrument panels
• Acrylics, enamels and lacquers alike
• Anyone tired of fighting a brush that won’t hold its point

How to use

• Load lightly and let the point do the work rather than pressing hard
• Rinse promptly after use to keep the tip sharp for longer
• Store bristle-up or in a brush case to protect the point between sessions

Once you’ve painted with a brush that actually holds a point, it’s hard to go back this is the one that lives in the “reach for it every time” pot on the desk.

The brush for the details that count. Pairs perfectly with Tamiya acrylics and the rest of the paint brush range.
