Space Dust is a soft, muted yellow the understated sort of tone that’s perfect for worn cloth, faded markings, dusty robes and grimy highlights rather than shouting for attention. Part of Army Painter’s Warpaints Fanatic line, it lays down smooth and pigment-rich, giving a pale colour proper, even coverage.

Best for

• Base-coating and layering by brush
• Thinning right down for glazes, washes or airbrush work
• Worn cloth, faded markings and dusty highlights

The dropper bottle keeps waste down and makes mixing your own thinned coats a doddle, so you get the same reliable feel from the first bottle to the fiftieth.

A quiet, useful tone that plays well with others. Pair it with a darker shade and a lighter highlight to build depth, or add a good synthetic brush to make the most of the flow.
