The right base finishes a model as much as the paint does. These rectangular plastic bases give cavalry and larger models a solid, uniform footing, ready to texture, flock and blend into the rest of your force. Compatible with the usual run of wargames and tabletop systems.

Why it’s good

  • Rough surface keeps glue, sand and flock firmly gripped
  • Consistent sizing for ranked units and movement
  • Suits wargames, role-playing and display pieces

Sand it, paint it, tuft it a tidy base that ties the whole unit together.

Reference: AK1120. Add some texture paste and static grass to finish them off in style.
