There’s a warm, dusty brown that turns up all over the tabletop worn leather, wooden hafts, canvas packs and sun-baked desert kit and Camel Brown lays it all down in a single pass. Brush it over a light primer and the resin-based formula does the shading for you, sinking into the recesses and thinning off the raised detail. Just the thing when you’ve a unit to get table-ready and no patience for layering.

Best for

• Leather, wood, canvas and desert equipment
• Speed-painting rank-and-file over a white or light primer
• Shade and highlight in one coat, no layering

Batch-paint a squad’s worth of boots and packs in the time a traditional recipe would eat on a single mini.

One coat, job done. Pair it with a decent soft brush and the rest of the Quick Gen range to build a proper speed-painting shelf.
