VALLEJO: TRUE METALLIC METAL COLOR CASE

The Vallejo TRUE METALLIC METAL (TMM) acrylic paint set is a complete collection of 80 bottles of 18 ml each, covering 20 color families from the True Metallic Metal series. Each family includes four paint variants: Base (base color), Shade (chromatic shadow), Light (highlight tone), and Airbrush an optimized version for airbrush use. The set is enriched with two exclusive miniatures as well as two brushes: a synthetic detail brush and a dry-brushing brush (size S).

Technical Features

• Paint type: metallic acrylic paints with real metallic pigments, offering a faithful reproduction of metal surfaces with natural shine and luminous reflections.
• Use: paints designed for miniatures, plastic models, resin or metal pieces, and any work requiring a realistic metallic effect.
• Color families: Base base color, Shade dark chromatic shade, Light highlight tone, Airbrush version adapted for airbrushing.
• Bottle capacity: 18 ml, allowing precise and repeated use.
• Compatibility: suitable for traditional brush or airbrush application. The Airbrush version is recommended for airbrush use, requiring 0.3 mm or larger nozzles due to the density of metallic pigments.
• Environmentally friendly: compared to enamel paints, they feature a milder odor and easier tool cleaning.

Usage Tips

• Metallic pigments may have increased grain and density, requiring an appropriate thinner as well as small brushes or suitable airbrush nozzles.
• Apply in thin layers to avoid marks and irregularities while preserving a bright metallic effect and luminous reflections.
• Shade and Light variants require precise dosing and application to maintain a natural and subtle chromatic metal effect.
