Populate Your Medieval Village

Military miniatures may fight the battles, but civilians help make a historical tabletop feel like a living world.

Use the Peasant Villagers to populate:

• Farms

• Villages

• Markets

• Roads

• Houses

• Workshops

• Taverns

• Churches

• Camps

• Rural settlements

Scatter them throughout your terrain to create a more believable medieval environment.

Versatile Civilian Characters

The villagers can represent a wide variety of ordinary medieval characters.

Use them as:

• Peasants

• Farmers

• Laborers

• Villagers

• Townsfolk

• Servants

• Camp followers

• Witnesses

• Civilian NPCs

• Scenario objectives

Their civilian appearance makes them useful across many different games and scenarios.

Great for Narrative Scenarios

Civilian figures provide plenty of opportunities for scenarios that go beyond conventional battlefield objectives.

Use the Peasant Villagers in games involving:

• Village raids

• Evacuations

• Escort missions

• Rescues

• Protecting civilians

• Gathering information

• Defending settlements

• Searching for witnesses

• Medieval uprisings

• Bandit attacks

They can serve as important scenario objectives or simply provide background characters while larger events unfold around them.

Ideal for Roleplaying Games

The Peasant Villagers also make useful NPC miniatures for fantasy and historical roleplaying games.

Keep them available for encounters in:

• Villages

• Farmsteads

• Taverns

• Markets

• Roadside settlements

• Castles

• Towns

Generic civilian miniatures are particularly useful for Game Masters who need figures capable of filling multiple roles from one session to the next.

28mm Metal Miniatures

The figures are produced in 28mm scale and cast in metal.

They fit naturally alongside compatible medieval, historical, fantasy, and roleplaying miniatures while providing the traditional weight and feel associated with metal figures.

Excellent Painting Project

Peasant clothing provides an opportunity to experiment with practical, weathered colors rather than the bright heraldry of nobles and soldiers.

Try painting:

• Natural fabrics

• Browns

• Greys

• Muted greens

• Linen

• Leather

• Worn clothing

• Dirt and mud

• Varied skin tones

• Rural scenic bases

Small differences in clothing colors can help make each villager look like an individual while keeping the entire group appropriate for the setting.

Build a Medieval Community

Combine Peasant Villagers 1 with other Pulp Figures medieval civilian sets such as:

• Clergy

• High Born Ladies

• Additional villagers

• Other civilian characters

Together, these figures can transform otherwise empty terrain into a populated medieval settlement.
